This year, instead of spending money to throw a party which is always for everyone else, we decided to just do a family getaway to Disney for the entire weekend :) the hotel is pretty nice! Full suite with kitchen, living room, bathroom and 2 beds :) can't wait to officially start the Disney trip tomorrow at magic kingdom. Went to walmart tonight and got Aiden some new Mickey apparel! :) On our way to hotel we stopped at build a bear so he could get a special bear :) He picked Spider-Man bear and decided to name him that- spidermanbear. :)
Of course, I'm always wanting to take pictures of everything but the photographer side of me pushes personal projects aside and stuff gets misplaced for over a year. I found an album this afternoon of a quick visit to the beach at sunset. I had to post. I love these <3

Of course, I'm writing this now wishing I would have started this 4 years ago. Wish I would have documented every special moment my son has had in his 4 years of life so far. But shoulda, coulda, didn't. But better late than never. I want something I can look back on besides just a folder of pictures of Aiden. The pictures say 1000 words, but I was 1,001. I want that story behind the picture of why I took it since my memory is shot. And I want something Aiden can go back on when he's interested and read and see. Anyways, I will TRY to keep this up to date. I know how I can be. Starting a blog/diary, writing for 4 days then forgetting about it but this is something I really want to do for Aiden as well as any other kids we have :)
To start off this story of Aiden Creech, I will begin with last night. February 26, 2014. Everyday this child surprises me with how smart he is and how much he knows without being taught things. We came home from dinner since he had to have a chocolate milkshake (NOT chocolate shake or milkshake - A CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE- there's a difference- to him ). I had editing to do as always and Aiden wanted to go watch his new obsessions, Paw Patrol. He went in his room and shut the door - yes only 3 and shutting the door on mom. Well after about 30 minutes I got up to check on him. I open the door and what do I see. His entire Thomas track put together, by himself. I had taken it apart a few days ago to clean up his room. He took all the pieces out and made a complete circle. I must say I struggle at putting those darn things together. He is so amazing <3
